168. The provisions of this Act, except section 167, do not apply to passenger transportation by automobile in the following cases:(1) student transportation provided or organized under the Education Act (chapter I-13.3), the Education Act for Cree, Inuit and Naskapi Native Persons (chapter I-14) or the Act respecting private education (chapter E-9.1); (2) courtesy transportation offered by a driver remunerated by an enterprise, but offered free of charge to its customers;
(3) passenger transportation offered for baptisms, weddings or funerals or passenger transportation using antique automobiles over 30 years old;
(4) transportation by ambulance; or
(5) carpooling that meets the conditions set out in paragraphs 1 and 2 of section 151 and any other passenger transportation where the sum paid for transportation offered using the same automobile does not exceed the amount prescribed by government regulation.
